Established in 2010, the Albion Community Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition (ACSAPC) is a community-based Coalition developed to respond to community needs around substance abuse and its related consequences. Services are targeted to youth, adults, community organizations and businesses, as well as families.

WHAT WE DO
The Coalition does the following in order to identify substance abuse prevention, treatment, and recovery priorities and to determine effective substance abuse prevention strategies for the Greater Albion community:
- Coordinates substance abuse prevention
- Collects substance abuse prevention, recovery, and treatment data
- Collaborates with prevention, recovery, and treatment organizations in the Greater Albion area & Calhoun County Michigan, to ensure that services are being provided
- Creates policy
In order to carry out this work, the Coalition use the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) as the guiding process for our work.
